Now, just because it was such an extraordinary turnaround by several of our guys, I'll grade the first half:

Ant: A+ (don't know if I've ever seen him play 2 near flawless halves before)

I give Rudy an A. His D was crazy. He was breaking up alleyoops while keeping everyone away from the hoop. 42-34 on the boards with Rudy leading the way. 52- 42 points in the paint. We killed them inside.

I know we have touched on this here and there, but the elevation of ANT's game in the playoffs has simply been amazing. He would have great games at times during the regular season. But the consistency in the playoffs for ANT's great games is somewhat unexpected. He's 22 years old! I keep expecting him to have a less efficient game, and it just has not happened.

The Wolves' defense keeps us in games. But playoff ANT is securing these wins. It's been fun! Here's hoping ANT remains elevated!

I'd give Morris a D. I get that he plays mostly mistake-free basketball, but can you PLEASE make a shot for once!?

It's crazy, isn't it? A number of folks here have said in the past that if we become legit contenders, it has to be because Ant is clearly our best player. Well, I'd say he is right now. I could argue that Rudy was our regular season MVP with Ant a close second. But Ant has not only been the best player on our team in the playoffs, he's probably the best player among all playoff teams so far.

Yeah, probably true...and I usually like Morris a lot. But he didn't look very good last night in his 3 minutes, and I had no problem with Nori yanking him after he missed that wide-open 3-pointer. If only we had another option at backup PG on the roster to give Mike a blow...

(because I know way more than the coaching staff that has coached us to 5 consecutive playoff wins )

Shouldn't we also give Nori/Finchie an A. Seemingly changing up the defense on Murray every possession, Finchie reportedly getting in Naz's face at halftime exhorting him to do better, finding ways to get players other than Ant scoring in the second half, and targeting Joker on defense both to wear him out and because he was ineffective on PNRs. I give the coaching staff an A.
