I thought if we were ever going to come out and really ride the wave and stomp on the throats of an opponent, it would be tonight. I might have gotten ahead of myself. I didn't see this coming at all.
Gotta be careful not to conflate hope with expectation. I'm not surprised Denver, and especially Murray, came out strong after all that criticism this week. And the hype for our defense was a bit overblown.
Still, we can still take this game. We're still up against the champs in the second round. We should feel good about the situation overall, but not let up.

Yeah, his 7 minutes in the first half were almost invisible. his box score is all zeros except for him missing a 5 footer. I never noticed him on defense either.
