It's not that simple Kek. This is worse than a normal loss.
On one hand, I'm with Cool here. Go back and read my initial post in this thread. I sensed a loss was more likely than most were expecting and basically wrote that I just didn't want us to go down like chumps.

On the other hand, look how Denver has bounced back. Getting blown out absolutely changes the way people talk about your team, and it can affect the way the team and the crowd respond, but it doesn't have to. You can come back after a blowout and return the favour. So taking the L and avoid getting guys hurt at this point makes sense. Then you just gotta respond the right way mentally. That's the next test.

BTW, hope NAW is ok there.

It should be someone’s job at this point to have a punching bag near the bench.

Q-is-here wrote: Fri May 10, 2024 10:56 pm Wolves probably needed to be humbled. Will they bounce back? Denver looked really sharp this game.
The Nuggets screening was about the best I've seen this year. They seemed to set the screens higher on the court and they were getting dribblers free all night.
Good observation, Cool. Nice correction by Malone. They were never able to get into their offense Monday night, but the high screens let them be the nuggets again. We'll have to see how finchie reacts to that.

I wish. What's your confidence level now compared to before the game?

Mine's not as high, but I was also checking myself going into the game. We've been getting too much confidence from these wins. And now we need to be careful not to get too low from this loss. The head needs to regulate the heart.

You're right Drew and I think the challenge ahead is huge. I hope we're up to it, but I'm not so sure.

The chair part was really stupid, but I understand why they got heated. Joker moved late on a screen, nearly took out NAWs knee and they lost it.
