Doogie was on a podcast last week and he indicated that even if ARod/Lore win the arbitration, he has doubts the league will approve the sale. The reasoning was that the other owners are friends with Taylor, and if Taylor does not want the sale to go through, it might not get approved by the other owners.
I don't know if he came up with this on his own, or if Taylor gave him that impression. I gotta think if the league turns around and disapproves the sale, we are looking at another court battle that could run on for years... Yuck!
Another new owner incoming
Re: Another new owner incoming
Interesting. But it’s Doogie. The only value Doogie has is providing information and he’s not even good at that. When it comes to analysis or speculation, he’s the worst. His speculation on this is ridiculous.60WinTim wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2024 9:37 am Doogie was on a podcast last week and he indicated that even if ARod/Lore win the arbitration, he has doubts the league will approve the sale. Chris Finch 4 year extension
Re: Another new owner incoming
OK Finchie, assuming we mostly run this thing back, it's on you to justify that contract by getting the half court offense up to snuff. Simply wasn't good enough last year even when everyone was 100% healthy.

I was listening to Mackey and Judd talk about this very topic and they added in an important angle to consider. When the other owners hear about Arod and Lore's plan for a Wolves village and a TV network VS Taylor talking about how Target Center is "just fine", it becomes a value proposition. One group is bringing value not only to the franchise, but also the league and it isn't Glen. I think it's safe to say that Glen feeds Doogie a good deal of information. I don't doubt Glen believes what he told Doogie about the other owners but I believe they will do what's best for their league.Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2024 9:46 amInteresting. But it’s Doogie. Glen is old. At some point the team is gonna be put up for sale and it might get messy if Glen isn't around...or maybe it will be easier. Lol unless there is some legit reason why the owners legitimately think Lowe arod isn't a good ownership group I think they would want to approve the sale.

I know there's quite a bit of new money (new owners) in the L. Are those guys now the majority or is it still Taylor's older group of cronies?
