I'm biased but I really enjoy watching Scheierman play. They aren't the same player and have a bit different strengths but I kinda get a Mike Miller vibe when watching him. I would be happy with selecting him and I think he would help the team. Thinking about it more I've probably watched him play more than anyone in this draft.60WinTim wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 10:18 amWhile Eurostash is certainly an option, I fully expect any 2nd round pick to sign a two-way contract with the Wolves.FNG wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 10:06 amLip, I also would like to see us take Scheierman with our first pick, and I have some concerns that his stock is rising quickly and that he might not be there at 27. I also don't think we want to roster two late draft picks this year, so I would endorse your idea of moving up a few spots by giving up 37.
I'm also not too excited about Nunez if we keep our second round pick, but I can see why TC might be targeting him. He's young, and could develop into a competent (and big) PG. But there is some question about whether he even wants to play in the NBA. He might be the perfect Eurostash for us this season. Let him develop in Europe for a year or two while he develops his game further, and then convince him to come over.

Joe Ingles is the comparison I've seen made.Monster wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 11:04 amI'm biased but I really enjoy watching Scheierman play. That's a good one too and Ingles is not unlikely Mike Miller either. A young Joe Ingles would be a pretty nice player.60WinTim wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 11:34 amAnd there is an Utah connection once again!!Q-is-here wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 11:07 amJoe Ingles is the comparison I've seen made.Monster wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 11:04 am

Re: 2024 Wolves Draft thread
Sounds like Luka Garza is going to Zaragoza in Spain
Re: 2024 Wolves Draft thread
Wow! I thought he might be back assuming we don’t draft a big. We may be looking for a vet minimum guy in free agency to fill that spot.
“Garza” has a lot of letters that “Zaragoza” has. You are pulling my leg, aren’t you? Drinking early?

Is this where the Wolves trade up for Reed Sheppard?
