SL Game 1 Wolves vs. Pelicans GDT
Re: SL Game 1 Wolves vs. Pelicans GDT
KAT is here. Sitting next to Finch. Always cool to see a top vet show up to support the young summer league guys.

Dilly had 3 assists and 0 turnovers. I'm putting more weight on his play making and taking care of the ball than I am his shot for now. His defense was pretty bad though.
Re: SL Game 1 Wolves vs. Pelicans GDT
Jaylen Clark looks like a bust so far.
Re: SL Game 1 Wolves vs. Pelicans GDT
Daishen Nix is best Wolves so far.

But did those older prospects have the kind of season Shannon did? One of the top scorers in the country and a lock down defender when he has to be.kekgeek wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 4:54 pmI agree with you. However I know there was a study done on how old prospects do in the NBA and the results have been really bad for old prospects lately. Jamie Jacques is a rare exception from last yearQ-is-here wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 4:51 pmI'll never understand why age is such a big deal if you are already really good and developed physically. He's one of the best two-way players in college basketball with an NBA body, but oh my god he's too old! Why does that suddenly make you a middling prospect??
You could point to a guy like Garza I guess, but everyone knew he had physical limitations in terms of his length and foot speed when it came to defense. Hard to poke holes in Shannon as a prospect with the ONLY exception being age.

Miller drains the three. He's rebounded well and got some nice defensive plays. I am not buying the negativity some are spouting.

At work not seeing the game. Thanks for the updates guys. Sounds like Shannon is exactly what we need.

I understand that. But TSJ has added something new to his game every year. He improved significantly every year.kekgeek wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 4:54 pmI agree with you. Wendel Moore didn't do that. Most college players that played 4 years didn't do that.
I don't see TSJ as an Allstars, but he has all the markings of a good rotation player. I think we scored a guy that can spell our guys for some minutes that fits our needs
