I think at some point tomorrow I may rewatch this game and check out some of the defense played by Minott and see how bad Miller was. Anything else I should watch for? Lol

100%. All my grades are not my feelings of how they will be long term.
Your grade seems to reflect your anti-Minott bias. :). Honestly, Minott’s defense today was smothering. And of course, he also brought great energy and rebounding. He made some nice passes as well. The shot wasn’t there, but it wasn’t terrible. He was our 4th best player after TSJ, Nix and Hifi. The big drop off was after Minott. So my grades are exactly the same as yours except I’m giving Minott a B.
The Leonard Miller hater club is alive and well. If you guys think he was a D, I officially think your opinions are trash. LOL
 I agree. I enjoy reading the reviews/grades by this group. But there are definitely baked in biases with these reviews/ratings. And not to be a hypocrite - I'm sure I have similar. It's hard not to.

I just glanced at the advanced stats from the first game and see Leonard Miller had a PER of 28.7. I realize PER is more offense than defense, but still - that's telling me he did enough on the offensive side to counter balance a lot of shitty defense. Assuming the reports of his shit defense are true, I would think he'd be a "C" grade at worst. But again - I appreciate guys calling it like they see it in real time and before any advanced stats are out.

Defense is contagious. Edwards wasn't very good when he first got here, but he really stepped it up since. I'm hoping the team culture will rub off on Miller as well (eventually). He's needs to be smart enough to realize that's a point of emphasis for Finch and his ticket to getting some minutes.

I rewatched this game and here are a couple observations.

Miller was definitely not bad in this game. There were a couple possessions where he looked lost but he gave plenty of effort and he was very productive and I don't think they were empty stats.

Leedee was less good than I thought watching him the first time through this game. He did some positive things but he wasn't all that good either.

Clark's D probably didn't get enough love in this game.

Minott's D was legit. Dude was all over guys and he seemed to switch onto pretty much any perimeter player and did well. He was better than last summer league and I thought he had made strides last year as a wing defender. There was also a variety of smart sorta vet type plays that he made. He had a smart cut to the basket for an easy bucket seems like he sets screens like he knows what he is doing and ends up being where he is supposed to be. Is his offense good? No but watching him most plays in this game gave me an appreciation for a guy that in this game and this level seems to actually know what he is doing quite a bit of the time.
