Lip movies next door into the more intimate Cox Pavilion to watch the Wolves play the Pacers. Indiana lost their first game to Brooklyn in overtime, but have a few interesting players on their roster. They have two rookies who were mentioned in several mock drafts as possible Wolves targets...Johnny Furphy and Enrique Freeman...plus rebounding savant Oscar Tshiebwe.
I'm interested in seeing Nix and Shannon duplicate their excellent showing in Game 1, and Rob can make a few shots. I also want to see Clark show some offensive potential.

Hopefully Miller is back too and we can get a longer look at him. I liked his energy in the last game, but didn't really get a good feel for how he was defending and that's been the main issue with him. I was definitely encouraged by Minott's defense even though everything else looked kind of chaotic with him.

Yeah, Miller is still intriguing at age 20. I would say I liked his energy and production in Game 1...10/6 with 3 steals in just 15 minutes. The jury is still way out on him though.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 8:10 am Hopefully Miller is back too and we can get a longer look at him. I spite of my game day hyperbole, I haven’t given up on MIller. His physical gifts are really impressive.FNG wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 8:14 amYeah, Miller is still intriguing at age 20. We’ve secured our seats at Cox Pavillion. Third row behind what will be the Wolves bench. Amazing to be this close in such a small arena. Feels like I’m at a high school game. Such a great experience to watch NBA type talent close-up in such an intimate setting.
Watching the Cavs v. Bucks now. Cavs are crushing them. Ty Ty playing for the Bucks. Not all Kentucky PGs fair well in the NBA.

We can hear what the coaches are saying in the huddle. So that means they could hear us if we want them to.
Cool - I know you’ve coached. If you have any plays you want the Wolves to run let me know and I’ll relay to the bench.

Cavs have a lot of talent on their summer league squad. Bates and Tyson look like NBA players.
