Derrick Rose just retired. Also, another veteran option would be John Wall who is a free agent.

Personally I think Wall can still play. The problem is that he isn't a good 3 point shooter and I don't know how well he plays off the ball. Teams are probably also concerned about whether or not he can stay healthy. Personally I think he would NE a pretty worthwhile gamble if you needed someone to play some minutes if you had an injury if he really is willing to play any role.

During summer league he was on talking about how he's hoping to get another shot in the league even if he's last man on the bench strictly mentoring. I believe he's also been mentoring Rob Dillingham since college.
