OT - World Series

Post by Coolbreeze44 »

Well MLB got what it's ultimately designed to produce, a NY vs LA world series. I probably won't watch a pitch because of it and am wondering how you guys feel. The league and media think this is what everybody wants, well it's definitely not, why should the rest of the country be thrilled? Also, why doesn't this thing start until Friday? Game 7 would be in November.

It will have high ratings since everyone in California and New York will watch it. I will not be watching it, I have no interest in it.

But Cleveland, KC, SD, Milwaukee and Detroit all made the playoffs!

Obviously, that PROVES that every team has the exact same shot to win the WS every year.

Ahem, ahem.

I haven't watched any baseball after the Twins collapse.

If I tuned in it would probably be to see Ohtani play though as he is a heck of a player.

I don't know if this is the best 2 teams or not. Most of the season there wasn't 2 top teams is was a bunch of kinda good teams and some teams that where kinda good.

I have good friends that are fans of both teams so I can be happy for them if either teams wins. Mostly I don't care. Lol

I cannot be bothered to watch any MLB. The payroll imbalance makes it hopeless for small market team, unless the planets align every decade or two. Just look at the other three big sports, all have a salary cap, all are competitive.

My father is a huge Twins fan down in Fort Myers, I cannot understand the joy in watching the Yankee's farm system, which is effectively what the Twins have become.

Who are all the former Twins players that have signed with the Yankees and led them to the world series?
