Over/Under NBA Team Wins

Last year, my top pick was picking the Wolves to place the over and I did try to make that bet in real life but alas my home state of California doesn't allow sports betting.

This year my top bets are in order of confidence level:

1. Houston-OVER (43.5): Good young roster. I love Sengun. I love Freddy VV. Jabari Smith and Jalen Green both looked good in second half of year. They added Reed Sheppard who I think was best rookie in this year's class. They got a deep bench with Amen Thompson, Reed, Tari Eason, Cam Whitmore and now Stephen Adams backing up Sengun. Good coach in Udoka. Well rested having just missed the playoffs. Houston is my surprise team in west.

2. Clippers-UNDER (35.5): George is gone. Kawhi out indefinitely. Harden is old and doesn't get to the free throw line like he used to. Clippers are not deep having traded away lots of picks to get George. Clippers don't have much talent outside of Harden and will have a tough time in the West. The only thing keeping them from going tankmode is that they traded control of their pick (actually swap rights) to the Thunder (who else?) and its not protected.

3. Boston over 58.5

4. Mavs over 49.5

5. Spurs under 36.5

6. Nets under 19.5

7. Washington under 20.5

8. Pelicans over 46.5

9. Wolves under 52.5

10. Raptors over 36.5

For what it's worth... Porzingis is out for the first 2+ months of the season.

I'd take the under on the Celtics coming off a championship run.
