I wasn't impressed with ANT tonight. All ball movement stopped with him. When he got the ball he was going to get his shot, good or bad.

Good job stepping in for Kek, Q. Nice win tonight...it might have been easy to mail in our performance against an undermanned team, but I thought we played hard the entire game. Your relatively high grades are deserved.

Jaden and NAW were both exceptional on defense. I like how two wings can score only 13 points in 39 minutes and deserve their high grades. NAW has started the season with 3 very good games, and it was nice to see Jaden get through a game with only 2 fouls.

I also thought our three old men deserved their high grades. My honey commented a couple times during the game how "young" both Rudy and Conley looked...they were moving like 25 year olds on defense. And while Ingles didn't look young, it's so much fun to watch a guy who always seems to do the right thing when he is out there. 4 assists in his 6 minutes and probably a few hockey assists also. You can see why Finchie likes him, and why it might be difficult for Minott to see many minutes while everyone is healthy. My one concern though is that Ingles might suffer a little from "Naz Reid Syndrome"...someone who really makes the offense tick, but also hurts us on defense. Take last year for instance: Orlando was 8.4 points per 100 possessions better on offense when Joe was on the court, but also gave up 1.6 more points per 100 on defense. I would take that ratio of course, but the previous season his Bucks gave up 6.1 more points per 100 while he was on the court. I'm still going to love what he does for an offense with his passing, screening and shooting, but we may have to suffer through a few defensive possessions.

Hopefully Finch and his staff will figure out that Ingles should be on the floor with Rudy and other good defenders and not pair with Naz.

As FNG mentioned, I thought Ingles had a really nice stint when he was out there. Yes, he's a defensive liability, but he serves the role as offensive connective tissue so well out there. He doesn't even shoot it that much, but he just knows how to move the ball and make precise passes.

Not sure that will ever completely go away with Ant. We just have to accept that sometimes he just gets tunnel vision.

Rudy was the best player on the court last night. He definitely is not showing his age, but then again 32 isn't all that old for a big man that relies on his length and smarts.

It would make sense to play Ingles with Gobert. One option on defense is putting Ingles as more of a PF instead of as a wing. Ingles was really good in this game. I think at some point Minott gonna get a shot and hopefully he shows out.

Yeah, he certainly has the size and physicality to guard some PFs.
