Nuggets at Wolves GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

A late game on ESPN tonight. Our first nationally televised didn't go so well. Tonight we have two teams who are still trying to figure themselves out. Hopefully, the Wolves are further ahead in that endeavor than the Nuggets!

Okay, I have a little more time now...

One of the more interesting facets of this game is how we guard Jokic. Jokic seemed to have a lot of success against Rudy in one-on-one matchups. Which is where KAT was really useful -- KAT would take Jokic and Rudy could roam around while keeping his eye on Gordon. Do we see Randle trying to guard Jokic tonight? It will be interesting to see how the Wolves defend him.

That seems to be the formula, but we'll see.

Conley really seems to have lost a step. I have wondered a few times if he ought pull a Brandon and offer to come off the bench…

Our defense just sucks. And ANT has fallen in love with the three.

The defense needs to get better if this team has championship aspirations.

He's getting targeted now. I really don't know how playable he'll be in the playoffs past the first round or so. I know that sounds dramatic, but he's already at such a disadvantage given his height. He used a combination of smarts and quickness to make up for it defensively, but now the quickness is fading fast.

So refreshing to see a post player not get called for offensive fouls and go to the line.

Yes, zero stray voltage with Randle.

Threes are making the difference with the turnovers.

Gotta make hay here with Jokic on the bench.
