Jimmy ducking the smoke Heat at Wolves GDT
Re: Jimmy ducking the smoke Heat at Wolves GDT
What the fuck is Finch doing? How do they not have this planned out and know who the inbounder should be? Yikes
Re: Jimmy ducking the smoke Heat at Wolves GDT
Pathetic pathetic pathetic coaching performance from Finch
Re: Jimmy ducking the smoke Heat at Wolves GDT

Great job Chris Finch, you had an outstanding final 30 seconds of game time you dumb fuck

Yeah, we F’ed that up. And it wasn’t just Finch. ANT had a bunch of wasted possessions as well.

I'm really trying to be patient with the trade, but man Randle was not good tonight

Abe's Late Night DVR rant:
- I thought that was a horrendous loss. So many people to blame... which tells you that ALL of them had to suck to lose a very winnable game. I don't know if the calls were bad necessarily, but fittingly every questionable call seemed to go against the Wolves. And that might have helped them look so damn rattled.
- I was at the Toronto game. I had Lip-worthy tickets, so I tried to get a good Ant video in the 4th quarter. He made a mistake three straight times. He was awful. I was shocked how bad he looked for an extended stretch. Tonight, I'm struggling to find a worse game he's played since the first half of his rookie year...
The Wolves were up 88 - 80 and had the ball and momentum. Edwards looked off a wide-open Randle and then dribbled and dribbled into a TERRIBLE shot that had zero chance. Herro came down and hit a three in transition. Suddenly it's a ballgame. He made mistake after mistake until he basically curled up into a ball of ineptitude and got off the rock. For all his bravado, he wanted no part of that game in the 4th.
- Conley was even worse. Conley looks cooked. He's had one decent game and one pretty good game this season. The rest have been poor to awful. Tonight might have been the worst on both ends of the court. He even had 4 TOs. He's basically Kevin Ollie out there so far this season.
- Randle was "bad Randle" tonight. That's to be expected sometimes. I was shocked he was out there on defense on the inbounds play. Why?
- The Wolves played half-ass for a half. Busted their ass in the 3rd... and then pissed on their collective leg in the 4th.
- Finch didn't do anything to stem the tide or calm them down.
- Obviously, I'm not one for hyperbole. Bad games happen. But I'm truly struggling to find many positives from this one. I think that they at least tried to win for a half makes this one so alarming. They struggled to get the ball inbounds for chrissakes like a team of overmatched 6th graders.
Yuck.

Finch is the only person coaching as if it's Game 7 of the playoffs and it's gonna have residual effects on the rest of the team.
