I wish they never traded Kat. Taylor repeatedly said he pay the 2nd apron to keep the team together. Then suddenly they HAD to get rid his contract and most people seemed cool with it?

Something needs to change soon or this is going to be a lost season. This is such a poorly coached team at this point. No amount of players only meetings are going to fix this mess.

This team needs to have a pg on the floor 100% of the time. Ant and Julius cannot be trusted without someone to intentionally move the ball around.

Randle has been everything I expected him to be.

DiVincenzo is everything I feared he'd be.

Yeah your predictions are looking pretty spot on.

This hero ball iso offense is tough to watch. No ball movement, just Ant or Julius forcing difficult shots. Seriously Finch is this the best we can come up with?

Good post Kiwi. Hard to watch and both ill conceived and poorly executed. But I believe the biggest problem (other than the trade) is our best player is not a foundational leader, and yet that's what he's been entrusted to do.

Abe's Late Night DVR Review:

- Good energy in the 2nd half run. But the Wolves obviously ran out of gas. Edwards was cooked with 4:30 left in regulation. (He missed his last NINE shots from the floor.)

- The league average for assists is 26. The Wolves are averaging 18 assists in the last four losses. They've had more than 22 assists in only one loss all season, averaging only 20.8 assists in the 9 losses. The passing and stagnation and hero ball is getting worse. And worse. (((I HATE ISO BALL.))) It ruins the beautiful game of basketball. I don't enjoy watching this team play... win or lose.

- TOs remain a problem, too. It's one thing to play hero ball if the selfish style limits TOs, or have a bunch of TOs with a free-flowing offense with a lot of assists (old GSW teams). But, the Wolves are below average in assists... and TOs. It's ugly.

- Rudy Gobert was punked by Sengun. The guy got wherever he wanted to go. What's Jokic gonna do to him for chrissakes. He was not impactful in any way tonight.

- Fun to see the energy Dillingham brings. That's two in a row. I liked his competitiveness on defense. I don't blame Finch sitting him in OT. There's still a deer on ice skates aspect to his game. That TO late was awful.

- If this is who McDaniels is... he's not the answer.

- Divincenzo was gawdawful. Just terrible in every way. I asked before the season whether last year was fool's gold with him or was he a late bloomer. Are we nearing an answer on that one?

- Where’d Naz Reid go? I assume he was at Runyons late in this one and unavailable.

- Fred VanVleet, Dillon Brooks and Amen Thompson shot 11 - 20 on three pointers. That's not going to happen often. The Rockets came in shooting only 32.5% as a team.

- The Wolves were on the big run... up 102-97... Edwards passes to McDaniels in the corner to ice the game with a three pointer... it goes in. And out. VanVleet comes down and immediately hits a 3. A possible 8 point lead is 2 with a minute left.

- The Rockets finished regulation shooting 2 - 14... and still won.

- Randle seemingly puts up the same stat line every game. And he plays like that's the goal, too.

- The Rockets started the game going 4 - 6 on threes... they got second chance points on the two misses.

- Still one of the shortest benches in the league... and it's still not working.

- Lose tomorrow... and the Wolves are 12th in the loaded West. 20%+ through the season... time is already running out.
