I’m sure you’ve all seen the news about TSJ’s foot injury. That’s a major bummer. Need to be careful with these foot injuries so I don’t think TSJ will or should be back for at least a month. This turn of events for TSJ plus Dilly’s ankle issues have been unfortunate. It’s bad enough that Finch won’t stretch his rotation beyond 8 guys, which precludes getting meaningful minutes for our young guys. The Finch problem is compounded by these two injuries.
I’m ready to see more Minott. While I like Miller’s talent, I don’t think he’s ready yet. Perhaps it’s time to get Clark some minutes.
I still see TSJ and Dilly as our most promising young players by far. I see those two as keys to whether this organization can pivot successfully to a Wolves 2.0 over the next couple years.

ever since the KAT trade this franchise has been very dishonest about what they want.
They needed to concede that this wasn't gonna be the year they won it all and just been honest about what the team is gonna do with the young guys, and that meant not starting Randle. That meant playing Rob and Shannon. That meant finding a role for Minott. Finch has done none of this.
Now we're a play-in team at best and we haven't learned a damn thing about any of our young guys. Now there's this need to trade Randle so we can keep Reid and NAW? Nonsense! We knew NAW was a goner the second they drafted a 24 year old rookie to take his place.
They needed to concede that this wasn't gonna be the year they won it all and just been honest about what the team is gonna do with the young guys, and that meant not starting Randle. That meant playing Rob and Shannon. That meant finding a role for Minott. Finch has done none of this.
Now we're a play-in team at best and we haven't learned a damn thing about any of our young guys. Now there's this need to trade Randle so we can keep Reid and NAW? Nonsense! We knew NAW was a goner the second they drafted a 24 year old rookie to take his place.

This has been my biggest disappointment with this year. It was obviously a transition year, if that was the case we should have bet big on development, not on watching Finch run a playoff roster for 40 games. The rub is that PR is a real thing.
It's one thing to trade a 9-year veteran player after making the WCF.
It's quite another to trade a 9-year veteran player... and have him surpass expectations in his new place and not even highlight the primary return in that trade (Randle).
Fortunately for Connelly, Randle is so despised by a lot of fans that they're now willing to concede that the team lost a horrible trade and are willing to lose the trade even more by jettisoning Randle at his lowest value. That was not possible three months ago. Connelly would be unemployed if he tried to do it any earlier.
At least now he has a scapegoat.
