This trade works on espn trade machine. We would get Fox and Duren Sacramento would get T Harris and J McDaniels, and Detroit would get Randle and (either Lyles or K Murray depending on who is not getting enough)

Also could toss our 1st in to a team to level it.

Maybe a three way deal like this for Fox. Would hate to trade Jaden but got to give something to get.

If Duren is too much could remove and replace but would be sweet if could get him.

I think we would have to compensate Detroit for taking on Julius unless they liked him. Even then they'd probably demand a pick. The question becomes if the Utah 2nd would be enough. Also can't see them dumping Duren in any configuration. They are merely facilitating the financial component.

If Detroit helped the Wolves get under the second apron to acquire a star, they won't be giving up their core pieces.

Julius would go to Detroit with Alex Len and their pick back. Jaden, Dilly and Tobias would go to Sac. I feel like Sac would be really enticed by that.

Would Foxy and Ant be it?

Ant/DDV
NAW/TJ
NAZ/Minott/Lyles
Rudy/Garza
I wouldn’t do that deal. But can we even do it under the CBA as a 2nd apron team. I thought we’re prohibited from aggregating players and in this instance we’d be sending to players to the same team. I could be wrong. In any event, it’s an interesting idea.

Yeah, it can't be done. The ESPN trade machine does not take into account apron restrictions. However, the spotrac trade machine does.

The Wolves would be under the second apron after the trade so it is legal. Basically, if the Wolves want Fox before the deadline, Jaden would have to go to help cut 16 million.

A Fox partnership would really open things up for Ant I would think. I would think that would put the Wolves in the thick of contender status. BUT...

Could Dilly be a Fox facsimile?

There have now been multiple reports that Minnesota is a willing "facilitator" or "conduit" in Jimmy trade talks. I find this fascinating and very telling.

They have zero cap space and can't take back a penny more in salary than they send out, so what does it mean?

It means they have large chunky salary that can help make numbers work in a large trade. Rudy is not legal tender due to his extension. As much as cool might want it, Ant is not going out in trade. That realistically leaves Julius and Jaden as significant matching salary.

If it is true that the Wolves are being eager beavers, that would shed some light on their willingness to trade Julius...he is really the only logical choice, unless my Fox scenario is true and Jaden is on the table.

So despite what Jonny K thinks, Julius is being dangled. I continue to suspect he ends up in Miami unless they like what the Raptors are peddling instead.

Another option would be a combo of Randle and divencenzo and Conley for Fox. We pry add in our detroit 1st and would need to be multiple teams involved. This would get us under 2nd apron. Would we rather keep Jaden at 23 mill or donte at around 11. Feel Jaden and Ant are super tight so I may lean Jaden. I absolutely love Fox.

I don't necessarily want to trade Ant, but I want to get into a situation where our 2nd max salary slot goes to our cornerstone and team leader. It's wishful thinking for the most part but I can't see us winning a championship as presently constructed.

Does Sacramento have ANY interest in that? I'm not seeing it as much as I'd love to keep Jaden. Naz on the other hand might be of interest to the Kings, in place of Jaden. Have to give something, to get something.

It would be likely a 3 or 4 team deal with multiple moving parts. Randle would likely go to Miami fox to us butler to the other team and they would give something and we would give them and donte and Conley and maybe a 1st if necessary. Divo is on a great contract and Sacramento would get some more quality pieces from team getting butler. I think it could work.
