I shouldn't have to remind anyone what happened the last we played at Utah as the trade deadline approached. TC struck! Could he strike again tonight? Randle out, Collins and Kessler in? (okay, that was wild speculation, and too soon -- a trade like that won't happen until the day, or day before, the deadline).
The Wolves, even on the second night of a back-to-back, should get an easy win tonight. We know Dilly is part of the regular rotation. I am anxious to see if Clark gets some 1st half minutes as well. He is just on a 2-way, but that would seem to be a temporary situation.
The Wolves actually had a decent 1st half against the Hawks. It was the 2nd half where they kinda imploded. Hopefully, there are no implosions tonight.

A loss tonight would be a huge blow to the momentum. Really a must win.

This is the kind of game an NBA team, not just the Wolves, might look past and lay an egg. You know, playing an inferior team the night after beating a better one. And I'd be more worried about this one if Atlanta hadn't happened...or if Finchie hadn't beaten the crap out of his team during film session. I suspect the wounds from yesterday's film session are still fresh, and I expect a good effort from our squad tonight. Naz and Rob aren't on the injury report, so they're okay after having the bug. But Mike is questionable with a sprained thumb on his non-shooting hand. I hope he plays because we're 0-4 in the games he has missed. But I think we're good enough to beat this Utah team that is 3-16 at home even without Daddy (or is he Mommy...I forgot).
I think the Wolves win and cover the 5 1/2 point spot tonight.

Clark was fantastic last night on defense. I really think he has a good chance to be a NAW replacement long term.60WinTim wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 1:30 pm I shouldn't have to remind anyone what happened the last we played at Utah as the trade deadline approached. I'm trying to remember -- does ANT have good games or bad games after being name an All-Star?!?
Congrats ANT! I didn't think this was a shoe-in early this year with the Wolves as a team struggling. I am glad to see him back in.

Conley is out. What a great opportunity to start Dilly! But Finch is going with NAW...

The Utah front line is not a bad trio.

NAZ, Rob and Clark all waiting to enter the game.
