Agree. And I think he does see it. Edwards is smart. He’s stubborn but smart. I’ll add that Ant’s failure to rely more on his teammates this season isn’t all on Ant. A big portion of it is attributable to Ant’s teammates. Rudy’s bad hands, clumsiness and offer comically bad shooting inside is a factor. NAW and Conley haven’t been good offensively at all this season. Jaden regressed offensively the first two months of the season. Passing the ball to Randle is like sending the ball into a black hole.

But now we see Jaden (except for tonight) playing much better offensively and NAW is suddenly regaining last season’s form. And I think Ant loves playing with Dilly. I think Dilly energizes him. Ant probably sees in Dilly high level talent like himself and someone who can play a style and pace that he likes.

Finch is petrified of short guys who can't defend regardless of whether he's great at our weaknesses.
Hes clearly very talented

Dilly was starting to get some minutes and then got dinged up. Perhaps he would have ramped up sooner if that didn't happen.

I think the Finch temper tantrum (starting with the Atlanta post-game presser and through his Phoenix ejection) was perfectly timed. It gave the squad a big boost in Phoenix and now tonight Ant was determined not to get reamed out again like after the Atlanta game.

Good point. That’s what I like about a coach like Finch. He doesn’t yell and scream all the time so when he does unleash a temper tantrum it has maximum impact.

Put some respect on Naw name, lip! NAW is shooting a career high in FG%, 3Pt%, 2nd best rebounding season, 2nd best ast season. He’s been fantastic this year, put some respect on Naw

I like that the Wolves have recently been putting up scoring numbers consistent the top teams in the League, scoring 133, 121 and 138 points in three of their last four games.

Agreed lip. Great defense is important for winning in the playoffs but you also need to hang with high scoring opponents too. This would be exciting if it can continue.

Thanks for pointing that out, Kek...NAW is our favorite player in this household, but we've been worried about his shooting for several weeks. I think Lip's comment and our worries are due to recency bias...NAW is only at 35% on threes this month, way down from the rest of his season where he has had 4 40%+ months! He's 10 for 20 in his past 2 games though, so it looks like his January slump is over.

Abe's "I have a lot more to write but I'm going to the cabin with friends and don't have time" DVR review:

- I didn't even finish watching the 4th quarter yet.

- Keep it going, Timberwolves. Should be easy with the Wizards up next at home. Sadly, I doubt we'll get that game in WI.

- J. Clark knows why he's on the court. While he'd be a huge liability in big games vs. big opponents, he's fun to have out there vs. bad teams in January. I'm sure it helps with team chemistry too... knowing you have a guy willing to do all the dirty work but not asking for anything in return.

- Dillingham. I already like him more than Troy Hudson... so there's that!
