Okay, I am sticking with the corny "In The Wilderness" theme, waiting for the damn trade deadline. It's really only 2 games left before the trade deadline, but I decided to include the game on the day of the trade deadline in the calculus.
When I decided to trek on into the Wilderness, I was hoping the Wolves could stay afloat playing .500 ball. And here we are with a 5-1 record since my Wilderness adventure began. That's pretty good! Except the one loss was at the start of a 5-game home stand against the lowly Wizards. But I'll accept the excuse we were just too undermanned.
We don't know who will be healthy tonight. Randle and DDV are clearly out. I assume ANT will be back, and NAZ is a mystery. The Kings will be without Fox, Huerter and JMac, and I assume LaVine will not suit up. The Wolves have already exceeded my .500 ball wish, but I am feeling greedy. Winning 3 of the next 4 games is pretty important for keeping pace with making the playoffs, not just the play-in. And I wouldn't mind winning 4 straight...
You never know when the Randle trade may drop. We are still waiting for Butler to be moved. And anything that might involve the Warriors likely waits until the 5th when Schroder can be included in a trade. But I'll be keeping my eye on my X feed!

Man, what a tough move by Naz. Puts it on the floor with his right hand then seamlessly switches to his left to throw up a floater. Swish. That is a really difficult shot to make.

What the hell is the deal with opposing teams coming into Target Center and just getting hot as hell from 3!?! So frustrating to watch.

Just tired of seeing it. Kuzma comes in something like 27% on the season and then goes nuts against us. And I don't see horrible defense or a lack of energy from the Wolves.

It is reminiscent of last season where teams had to shoot incredibly well to beat this team. That's not a bad thing. Better yet, the Wolves offense is able to hang lately, Saturday notwithstanding.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 7:25 pmJust tired of seeing it. Kings are turning up the heat on Dilly early on. I'm interested to see how he handles it.

Dilly getting trapped. Teams are already blitzing him with two!?
