They will sign him on the last day of the year. No reason to increase the tax bill, just in case they don’t make the playoffs.

He will also be a RFA at the end of the year. Also I believe he can only sign for super cheap (2-way guys sort of get screwed if they ball out)

These type of experiences can pay big dividends down the road. It feels good that they could do this with Ant out and also Conley. Finch needed to see it happen.

Games like this are why I feel Jaden and Naz ARE the core going forward with Ant. Naz has picked up the defense and Jaden is becoming the well rounded player we all hoped to see. Defense, rebounds, now the midrange story drives to the hoop.
The passing was huge tonight. The ball moved and they got out on the break as well.

The Wolves took their souls in the second half. Was a great game to watch!

Held Portland to 38 second half points. Wolves scored 38 points in the 4th quarter! This is two games in a row where we just put the hammer down in the 4th in a game where we are trailing for a good portion.

First full game I’ve seen all season that wasn’t on National TV or against GSW/Kings (west coast guy here). I picked the right game! Mostly did it because I knew the young guns were gonna get some minutes.

Naz did what Naz does, so that wasn’t surprising although the did by default handle the ball more than he normally would because of all the absences. Reminded us of how good a ball handler he can be.

Rudy remembered he’s a massive C in that 2nd half after playing pretty weakly in the 1st half.

Jaden man that was beautiful to watch, as some of you have been pointing out the rebounding numbers have been on the up and up here for a while but the offense is coming along as well. He knew he had to step up and man did do it. This should continue to build that confidence after such a poor start early in the season.

Clark is a dog hopefully he can become our NAW replacement when he inevitably leaves (although nowhere near the ball handler he is). The offense has been an incredible surprise but a welcome one. These injuries may be a blessing in disguise allowing some of these young guys to get much needed time that Finch would’ve never given them. Even if they struggle it’s learning experience. When the starters come back we definitely look like a much deeper team than what Finch had been rotating early in the season.

Garza has picked the wrong time to go cold on offense. If the 3 isn’t get to the paint man.
Dilly has struggled here the last couple of games but even in those games he’s good for a few minutes of carrying the team and giving them a boost when needed offensively.
Shannon started pretty roughly but got a bit better as the game went on.
Ingles dead corpse has some good moments as well.

We may want to sign a big to a 10 day contract or two as well until Randle comes back. Luka clearly hasn't been the answer.

Went to Houston game and felt like the "team" energy was very high. Thought that was the best team win of the season...tonight went to Illini/Gopher game then dinner...watched late. Best team win of the season.

Saw some criticism of Gobert on the board and he definitely could have been more aggressive in the first half, but Gobert and McDaniels do seem to be the barometers of this team and Rudy owned Portland in that second half.

Great game.
