Ant's teammates HAVE to be getting annoyed by these shots to end games. There is basically nothing they can do besides watch and hope it goes in. I think it's time they run an actual play and the guy with the best shot takes it. It can't be any worse at this point.

I think Yosimar wouldn't have taken the time to post if you didn't limit most of your game thread comments to "remind" us of Ant's shortcomings, as if most of us aren't well aware of them.

That being said, diverse perspectives is what keeps this place interesting.

A few years ago I made the mistake of getting personalized Golden Knights Marc Andre Fleury jersey thinking the old man would retire with them after telling myself I’d never get a players name on any sort of sports jersey.

Ideally the leader of the franchise is as great a person as he is a player but the reality of sports in 2025 is that isn’t always the case. I guess some people are just better at compartmentalizing player from person. It must suck to dislike the franchise guy of the team you root for.

Yosi, I like him as a player and recognize he's easily our most talented guy. I never root against him. But with all the unabashed love he gets on this forum I like to bring some balance to the discussion. If it wasn't for Kek, FNG and I you would think he can do no wrong. I will try to temper my commentary on him if it's become annoying.

I will say that we don't see enough transitional push from Ant, that we should. The way a guy like Giannis, LeBron or Simmons in his heyday.

Maybe in the playoffs? Why let the defense set up? Like the way he was waiting for a double to get to him, now he's generally not and slicing and dicing them up by being the aggressor. Why not push the pace and slice and dice for some easier 1 on 2 or 2 on 3 type of transitional points? He can get to the hoop much easier then.
