The Gauntlet: The Train - Wolves at Rockets GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

2-2 in the Gauntlet thus far is not terrible. But The Train scene does not go well for Clint -- he takes a beating even though he prevails in the end.
Biker Gal: You wouldn't hit a lady.

Ka-POW!
As kek mentioned, Randle and DDV are getting closer (Randle sooner), but both will be out tonight. ANT, Rudy and Conley are all listed as questionable, but my guess is they play. FVV is still out, but apparently Jabari Smith will be making his return.

The KOM, as currently configured, predicts 4 straight losses for the Wolves. So, 4 straight anti-klunker opportunities! With all the tinkering I have done in the KOM, the best case scenario is the #4 seed, which means a 2nd round matchup with the Thunder. And the most common outcome is the #6 or #7 seed, which seems weird because that's where we sit today (Clippers losing to the Bucks last night was helpful!).

We should get a healthy dose of the kids tonight. My biggest hope is NAZ just keeps killing it, making it tough for Finch to re-insert Randle into the starting lineup.

Maybe Finch won't have the choice to move Naz to the bench.

Unless we show they same kind of offensive and defensive prowess as we did against the Thunder...

Should be targeting Sengun when Houston is on defense.

Conley having a tough time out there defensively. Just too small against a point guard-less Houston team.
