WOLVES JAZZ NO LEAP
Re: WOLVES JAZZ NO LEAP
Loss is on dipshit ANT. Fitting that John Collins kicked our butts.
Re: WOLVES JAZZ NO LEAP
2-4 without Rudy. Gave up 60 points in the paint to the worst team in the West.
This board likes aesthetically pleasing basketball I enjoy winning and they miss Rudy so bad

This loss is on Finch. He cost us in the 3rd quarter by allowing that Utah run to happen and continue.
Re: WOLVES JAZZ NO LEAP
Unfortunately, our next opponent found their mojo tonight. A loss to the Suns would increase our chances of missing out on the play-in altogether!
Re: WOLVES JAZZ NO LEAP
These last two games also brought Naz down to earth a bit. 11 for 35 from the field combined and just not big/strong enough to man the middle against a couple teams with some real size.

5-8 since Randle got hurt.
No way Finch benches Randle when he comes back.
Re: WOLVES JAZZ NO LEAP
Yep, you nailed it, Kek...and I'm as guilty as anyone. It was really fun to watch two teams going full bore back and forth...spectacular dunks by Utah and aggressive drives to the basket by the Wolves. The Wolves had 35 assists and only 7 turnovers. Fun!
But f*#@...we lost to a woeful Jazz team missing its best scorer. A game we needed to win. We got outrebounded 60-40. SIXTY TO FORTY!. The sad fact is that when Rudy and Ju are out, we have no rebounding and no interior defense. Does anyone think the Jazz get all those alley oops against any other team in the league, or against us if our two starting bigs are available? Not a chance.
Ant and Ju are ball stoppers, and our offense is frankly boring when they are out there...so much more fun to watch TJ, Clark and Rob flying all over the court. And Rudy's defense is so stifling, he makes our opponent's offense so boring also.
i want more entertaining basketball.
Or, maybe I want a few more wins...
Heal up, Rudy.
Grow up, Ant.

It's a bit too much for him to be a featured guy I think, plus the lack of defense. If his shot isn't falling then he's not a net positive player in that space and pace role. I still like him in a starting role. He's just not a 5, nor is Garza which hurt us real bad on D. I miss Rude also.
