Obi toppin has made 13 3s against the Wolves in 7 Q

He has not made 13 3s in his last 64 Q against non wolves teams

As I've been saying. I've had enough of that guy.

Ants last two games against Indiana he has shot a combined 2 from 22 from 3pt. Both games he was 1 from 11.

I'll go back to the way we started the game. First two trips down, Ant and then Ju looked for their own offense by taking and missing 3 point shots without any ball movement. That told me once again this isn't a serious basketball team. The Pacers came out flying around, sharing the ball, and running their offense the way it is supposed to be run. In the end we got what we deserved.

Abe's "Well that one felt like 1,000 other Timberwolves losses" DVR Review:

- Indiana seemed like they had this one in the bag very early. I guess it should be expected that if the Wolves couldn't beat them without their 6 best players just a week ago...

- For a guy who scores only 13 ppg... Jared McDaniels seems to pile up an inordinate number of delay of games after scoring a bucket.

- The Wolves couldn't contain TJ McConnell. They had ZERO chance against Haliburton, McConnell and Nembhard. The Wolves were in chase mode all game. The Pacers were one step ahead all night.

- One of the teams watched game film. The Pacers were also one step ahead on defense. There were many plays in the 3rd quarter where the Pacers knew where the ball was going before it was passed.

- Keek nailed the Obi Toppin stat. I'll add one more. Obi Toppin is 13 - 21 vs. MN in two games. 7 in one game... 6 in the other. He has only one other game with more than 3 all season (4).

- Rough game for McDaniels. Rough game for NAW. Middling game for just about everyone else.

- This has looked like a play-in team for about 90% of the season. And fittingly, that's where they'll probably end up.

Ant and DDV 2-17 from 3. That's a tough handicap to recover from. What happened to the good old days when Jaden's usage was on the rise, TSJ was injecting energy every night, and the ball was being shared like we actually believe it's a team sport? This team can beat anyone on a given night, maybe a given series. But they're simply not bought in on what it takes to win consistently. The main culprits due to their standing on the team and selfishness:

Randle
Ant
Rudy
NAZ

The guys who actually get it:

Clark
Jaden
NAW
Conley
DDV (For the most part)

The home losses to Indiana and New Orleans was the breaking point for me. I'll start watching again during the play-in, but there really is no reason to watch the rest of the regular season at this point.

Earlier in the season I held out hope that they just need more time to gel and find the right rotations. I really thought they had exorcised a lot of their demons during that 8-game winning streak, only to come crashing down to earth again.

This reminds me of two seasons ago where I held out hope as well, then they proceeded to have two consecutive home losses against the Wizards and Hornets in late February and I knew then they wouldn't get very far in the playoffs.

Assuming we get booted in the play in or lose in the first round, it's an unacceptable result for the 2nd highest payroll in the NBA. While a big part of that blame rests with Ant, I think Finch is right there with him.
