Two of the 28-loss teams lost tonight. The Griz loss to the Thunder was expected. The complete implosion over the last 12 second by the Lakers to the Bulls completely wipes out the heroic win they had the night before at the Pacers! The door keeps opening...
Whenever I play around with KOM team tiers, the Wolves still generally come in with the #6 seed. They just need to win the games they are supposed to win, and they'll be fine.

Crazy. Many players would be shredded for how LeBron played in those last few sequences60WinTim wrote: ↑Thu Mar 27, 2025 10:24 pm It's really wild:

Ha, gotta love Stacey King channeling Fred Sanford!60WinTim wrote: ↑Thu Mar 27, 2025 10:24 pm It's really wild:

Big one tonight as the Wolves get back to action. Favored by 6 1/2. Bradley Beal out with a bad hammy...don't know if that's good or bad for us. Let's hope Ant's weird thumb laceration is better.
Re: Playoffs discussion
I thought the Fred Sanford thing was amusing at first, but then he kept doing it and I was like, OK, that's enough now. Plus over half his audience probably doesn't even know what he's referring to! Both the play-by-play guy and King were a little over-the-top, but that's just me.FNG wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 8:21 amHa, gotta love Stacey King channeling Fred Sanford!60WinTim wrote: ↑Thu Mar 27, 2025 10:24 pm It's really wild:

I always like the Verne Lundquist approach, who called some of the most seminal moments in U.S. sports history during the last 50 years...Let the moment sink in for a while before saying something.
Always nice to see the Lakers suffer in some way, regardless of how it does or doesn't impact our Wolves.

Lol, yeah...Stacey can be insufferable at times!Q-is-here wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 8:31 amI thought the Fred Sanford thing was amusing at first, but then he kept doing it and I was like, OK, that's enough now. Re: Playoffs discussion
Taylor Jenkins fired. Interesting timing. Can the Grizz pull themselves together to make a playoff run? Seems a tall task.
Re: Playoffs discussion
Yeah, there has to be some sort of story there we have not heard about. I've always considered Jenkins to be a rock solid coach.
So, so the Griz get a "new-guy-in-charge" bump like the Kings got with Doug Christie? Or is it all down hill from here?

You think Stacey is bad, do you remember what torture it was listening to Johnny "Red" Kerr?FNG wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 8:45 amLol, yeah...Stacey can be insufferable at times!Q-is-here wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 8:31 amI thought the Fred Sanford thing was amusing at first, but then he kept doing it and I was like, OK, that's enough now.
