Plus minus weirdness: the other 9 Warriors other than Kuminga were all minuses in just a 5 point loss...hardly seems mathematically possible.

It doesn't have to be that way, and it could be a lot easier
To be fair many of the passes they have made out to the support cast have not been made. If they were hitting their shots, I think we'd be mostly happy
Jaden was 4-7 and 3-4 from behind the stripe. I would have liked to see more of that.
For sure. I'd like to see Mike, Donte and/or Nickeil hit one or 2 as well.

Game 4 or 5 he needs his Rudy moment.

But as of now, the Wolves are the only team initially favored to win their series to actually be up in their series.

Kuminga has been a handful for us. Interesting watching him and Moody alternate from starring role to doghouse.

I will say they are playing an elite defensive team. It’s ugly but don’t write them off as a potential contender
No question they are an elite defensive team. I thought we were clearly the better team coming into the series even with Curry, but I don't think so anymore...it would have been a close series. I guess I didn't appreciate what the addition of Butler did to their defense...Payton was always a terrific wing defender, but the defensive emergence of Hield and the curly headed Polish guy really makes them tough to score on. Nice to be up 2-1 on a team that plays D like that.
I agree, FNG. I too didn’t realize the impact of adding Butler to that team. If Curry had been playing tonight the Wolves would have lost and we would probably lose the series. Note that Podziemski hit only 1 of his 10 FG attempts in 39 minutes tonight. He’s a better shooter than that so I would expect him to shoot better the remainder of the series and that means the Wolves will need to play even better to win this next game. Still, I think the Wolves will need to win the next two and take the series if Curry remains out.

I want to see Jaden with more touches and taking more shots.

JK has been shooting lights out. I'm ok if he cools down next game.

Yeah, but someone has to score on that team. We can't expect to hold everyone to 14 points or less on awful shooting. As long as we keep scoring 100 points or more though, we should be fine. Wasn't sure we'd make it after that 40 point first half, ugh!

I really like Julius. He played awful game 1 but it is nice to have ball control from a forward. Ant trusts him too. They have worked out a nice 2 man game.

Too often Fans and media try to over or devalue a win based on the margin of victory , or giving up big leads and winning it close.
In the playoffs every W is guilt free. Gordon hit a last second 3s in both of Denver’s Ws. They put themselves in situations to win those games and did. . Wolves won this game early when they were struggling and didn’t let the lead grow to where it was insurmountable. They didn’t have to abandon the offense and go into heaving up 3s mode.
I remember when OKC and Denver played back to backs a month ago. OKC blew them out the first game and conclusions were made by all. Only to have Denver blow them out in game two.
All teams get those big sexy blow out wins during the season. But the good teams consistently win the ugly ones .

Just finished watching this one. Whew they won.

Edward's had a high scoring game but idk he doesn't seem like himself. I think that ankle is bothering him. Idk if he will get back to himself this playoffs or not. I hope so.

GS plays good defense that's part of the Edward's struggles and the Wolves looking out of sorts. Curry isn't a bad defender (unless he is now that he is older) but I Think GS seems to have defenders out there from everyone they put on the floor and guys are playing with a ton of energy. GS should get credit for the defense and energy they are playing with. It's VERY good even for the playoffs.

I get it the Wolves are struggling to win this game against a team missing Curry and someone has to score for GS but Kuminga is stepping up for them.

It was days ago we were talking about how Buddy was struggling and then he goes bonkers to win a series and has been better since. Donte is easily capable of breaking out offensively. I liked how he kept his cool on those offensive fouls. As for NAW I think they need either him or Donte out there at times helping with ball handling as opposed to either TSJ or Clark. NAW while not much of a shot creator is pretty reliable bringing the ball up getting it to someone etc. GS was making him look like he isn't that guy. I'll pass on having Clark have to handle the ball much against this group of defenders. I'm cool with either Clark or TSJ getting some minutes but just pointing out some value of those guys that are getting the minutes.

Idk if Randle was as good as his Stat line (could have easily had another 2-5 points if he was just a tiny bit quicker) but he made a lot of plays when they needed them. He also had a couple bone headed plays too but the good ones far out weighted the bad. The guy is having a very good playoffs run. Back to back double digit assist games wowzers.

Jaden had a good game. It was kinda quiet offensively but he was still good on that end picking some spots although he had a couple aggressive takes for buckets they really needed. Fouling out Draymond was sweet!
