Closing It Out - Warriors at Wolves Game 5

Post by 60WinTim »

What the hell! Let's jinx the snout of this one...

One thing you can say about the Wolves: they haven't peaked too early. Now would be a good time to start peaking: win in convincing fashion and be playing well heading into the WCF.

Will we be graced by any former Wolves legends at the game? Todd Day? Reggie Slater? Mike Wilks?

The Wolves have 3 chances to move on. Tonight is by far their best chance of the 3. Hopefully Draymond does something stupid to get tossed, one of my favorite NBA events!

Did anyone else see that Draymond got fined 50k for something he said to the officials. I don't' remember him getting a tech during the last game.

I can't say this is certain, but the rumor is Smilin' Wes Johnson and Wendell Moore have scored a couple seats right next to Lip. Rashad McCants couldn't come up with the scratch to buy a ticket, but Abe has kindly invited him over to his house to watch the game with him.

Wolves are 10 1/2 point favorites, and the crowd should be properly liquored up and rowdy by 8:30. Let's open up a big lead and give the kids some playoff experience in the 4th quarter!

Whenever the Wolves have felt themselves this season they've laid down. So this is probably the toughest challenge they have. Everyone is picking the Wolves now. Saying it's already over!!!

I kind of think either two outcomes are likely, the Wolves get up big and put them away early in the 4th after GSW quits (like a Draymond ejection and Jimmy dejection which I enjoy also). Or the game is close and it's a tossup with 2 minutes left. I really hope it's not close in the last 2 minutes. Just stomp on these guys while they're down. You give a team life and you never know.

Steve Kerr gives the Timberwolves some pre-game motivation by saying Curry possibly could play in a Game 6...reduces the chance of us coming out nonchalantly.
