Thanks, Q! I had not taken a serious look at Looney, but he would be a solid Rudy backup and address some of our rebounding problems. I am hopefully we draft at least one, if not two, bigs next month. The draft and player option decisions by Randle and NAZ will give some clues as to where our frontcourt might be headed.

Tim Connelly will be sitting in his office in the next couple weeks and he will be constructing a plan on how to beat OKC. Some of you have hinted at it or outright said it, we need a dynamic point guard to rise to their level. This player needs to be able to take care of the ball, get his own shot, and deliver the ball to Ant and Jaden in spots where they can do damage. We also need to be able to run and get the easy baskets that have been so hard to come by in this series.

I don't think the player I'm talking about is on the roster. But there would seem to be some young veterans out there who could fill the bill. Fox is really intriguing, as are Maxey, Suggs, and Henderson. Anyone else you would throw into the mix for TC to consider going after?

But how do bring in that player? what assets do we have to make that happen, do we have the salary cap space?

It's TC's job to make it happen, but potential trade assets would be our two 2025 draft picks, Rudy, Randle, Dillingham, Clark, and TSJ.

What a fun Finals in store for us if Indiana can close this out. They just send waves of players and press the entire game. They are using an 11-man rotation! They forced Thibs to finally relent and go deeper into his bench this series.

So the two "system" teams that utilize the biggest playoff rotations and have the clearest identities will meet in the Finals. You hate it if you are an ABC/ESPN executive, but you love it if you are a fan of basketball.

While I'm a KAT fan, I'm a Thibs hater. Glad Thibs lost and has never made a finals appearance. Haliburton is so special and underrated. Small market team battle should be exciting! SGA vs Haliburton, maybe the best two outside of Jokic.
