Looks like Dodgers, Giants, Nas, and Cardinals are interested. I would be fine seeing them sell high on him.
Darren Wolfson says that the Dodgers are still in talks, but so are the Cardinals, Nationals and Giants.

On the surface, the Dodgers make the most sense. They've got a need at second base for a player like Dozier, they have a loaded starting rotation, they've already got a very high payroll, and they've got a stable overflowing with great young prospects.

Re: Dozier Rumors
This is a tough one for me, because Dozier is both our best and my favorite player. But I agree that selling high might be the best strategy here. If we didn't have Polanco waiting to take over at 2b my thought process might be different. But we need pitching and the Dodgers have too much. If the return is adequate, I say make the deal.
Re: Dozier Rumors
If the Twins do trade Dozier I hope whoever they get back better actually turn out to be something. The Twins haven't exactly done well in that regard. It's a new era so hopefully they can make some good deals.

Re: Dozier Rumors
I wonder how long this will go on before something would happen. Is there any events that will make this need to happen sooner rather then later?

Thanks for posting. I really liked him for some reason when he was with the vikings. I had no idea he made it to the majors.
Re: Dozier Rumors
I'm not a big fan of the rumors surrounding the Dozier deal to the dodgers. DeLeon is likely a #3 at best and was downright terrible in his one call up at age 25. Add in the injury history, and no thanks.
I'd prefer a different direction. One where we package Dozier and some of OUR prospects for a true #1 or #2 who has proven it. If it has to be the dodgers then add something with Dozier to nab Urias.

ESPN ranked Dozier the 9th best 2nd basemen.

Re: Dozier Rumors
9. Brian Dozier, Minnesota Twins
The evaluators' split decisions on Dozier are fascinating and perhaps present a window into the Twins' efforts to market him. Some club officials placed him high on this last -- as high as No. 2 overall, ahead of the likes of Cano and Kinsler -- while others assigned him the No. 10 spot because they're not entirely convinced that what he did in the second half of 2016 is a sign of what's to come.
To review: From April 4 to June 16, Dozier struggled, hitting .227 with seven homers in 61 games. From June 17 to the end of the regular season, he hit like a baseball god: He bashed 35 homers in 94 games with 63 extra-base hits and 75 runs.
Evaluators are trying to decide exactly what he is, and maybe that starts with the Twins' new front office, led by Derek Falvey. If they believe he'll be as great as he was in the second half, it'll be easier for them to hang onto him. But if their evaluation of him is that what he did in the second half is an aberration, then they probably need to move him sooner rather than later.
The most underrated part of what Dozier does is in his baserunning: According to one metric that rates efficiency in this skill, Dozier was the best of all second basemen last season.
