I heard Lip's standing reach has increased 2 inches this off-season. He might be the 3rd overall pick in the homeowners association draft.FNG wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:19 pmI wonder if Sorber's foot injury scared us off...not a good thing for a big.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:17 pmCertainly fits the modern game better than Sorber, not that Sorber can't be really good in his own way.Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:13 pm Beringer. What I love about him:
1. Has terrific length with a 9’3 standing reach and 7’4.5 wingspan.
2. Still only 18 years old and has played basketball for only 4 years - translation: huge upside
3. Very good athlete
4. Watches NBA basketball every morning - obviously loves and is devoted to the NBA game.
5. Seems to play with a lot of competitive fire and energy.
6. Can be mentored by the best French big man in the NBA
This was a very good pick. He didn’t compile impressive stats and the fact he’s only played basketball 4 years could be viewed as as a negative rather than a positive. But this is where I trust TC. He has a terrific acumen for identifying young talent. In this instance I think it’s obvious TC had his eye on Beringer all along, which is why he didn’t trade up for Sorber and waited until #17 without trading down. So this is a pick we should be excited about.
And if he's only 18, imagine how tall he'll be after two Wolves off-seasons!

He'll love our French fries! And don't forget, Des Moines is french. So he should feel right at home here!Jester1534 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:20 pm Moore reporting that hes for sure coming over no stashing for our pick

Reports still out there that Jester can still beat Josh Okogie in 3 pt contest. Jester is 35 years old 6’2 guard who went down inch from last year’s draft. Look for wolves to draft him at 31.

You’re right about the 2”, but you have the wrong direction.

Re: Official Draft Day Thread
It's kind of fun sitting back and seeing what batch of players the Wolves will have to pick from tomorrow night!

I like Kasparas Jakucionis I think some teams might regret passing on him. Miami is a good spot for him.

Is Beringer the next Giannis?
Re: Official Draft Day Thread
Watching my first clips of him he actually reminds me a little of a super sized version of Minott.

OK. Nine picks before the Wolves are back on the clock at 31 to start the 2nd round tomorrow night. Here are my top 10 for the Wolves still on the board:
1. Raynaud
2. Fleming
3. Konan
4. Kalkbrenner
5. Asa Newell
6. Nique Clifford
7. Drake Powell
8. Tyrese Proctor
9. Ben Saraf
10. Danny Wolf
Of these 10, the only ones I’d really like to get are the following six: Raynaud, Fleming, Konan, Newell, Clifford, and Saraf.
