I barely knew Rasheer Fleming existed before tonight but after watching some video and doing a few minutes of research if he isn't the guy at 31 I'm gonna burn down the Target center!

But seriously I do really like him and kinda blown away seeing the highlights. I'm tempted to watch a full game that he plays in but I'll wait to see if we actually draft him first. Lol

Here are a couple minutes of Raheer's interview at the combine. I saw this right after the combine and he moved way up on my list of guys I wanted.

I could easily see TC packaging one or both along with Randle in a major trade for someone like Derrick White. But I’d like to draft Fleming and go forward with Beringer and Fleming as young front court talent with Dilly, TSJ and Clark as young backcourt and wing talent. If we can package Randle with Minott and/or Miller for a bridge PG or a veteran big I’d do it. Otherwise, I’m content either keeping Randle or letting him walk and possibly getting below the 1st apron so we have access to the full MLE.
Lip let's say the Wolves draft Fleming. Personally I think that makes keeping Randle maybe make some sense. The Wolves haven't added add any ball handling guards so Randle's playmaking at least for this upcoming season could be useful.

Beringer seems like exactly what should be done for the future and him being French will have Rudy even more bought into working with him although I think he would anyway. It seems like the Wolves are set up pretty well to compete while looking towards the future with Dillingham the Guard of the future which hopefully will have more of a real role next season. If NAW leaves they could still use another ball handler on the roster but there are probaly gonna be some options via FA especially if there isn't a guard draft pick.

Thanks Tim. I had thought of Jeremi Grant when I was watching some more clips and then he mentioned it in this interview.

Rob Dillingham
Jaylen Clark
TJ Shannon
Anthony Edwards
Jaden McDaniels
Lenny Miller
Josh Minott
Joan Beringer
Pick 31

Look at that youth! Wolves aren't doing bad for a team that traded their whole future for Rudy Gobert. 8-)

A couple thoughts as we go into this 2nd round with 31.

I see a couple areas the Wolves can address this roster and they don't have to be with this pick but obviously it would make sense to do so. Here they are in no particular order

Ball handling. The Wolves might be light on this especially if NAW leaves. Ideally they add some sort of PG type of guy but it could be a combo guard. Dillingham could be the answer here.

Impact scoring on the perimeter. Again Dillingham could be this guy as well as TSJ but another option wouldn't hurt.

True PF option as depth. Having a better option behind Randle and Naz would help and it could also keep McDaniels from sliding down to play PF. Fleming looks like he could maybe be a nice option here.

Defensive center as depth behind Gobert. I could get excited about taking an older more ready to play guy here but something to consider is whether Jesse Edwards or someone else they could sign with a 2-way deal could fill this role. I like the options at 31 for a more ready center than Jesse Edward's but maybe after a season in the G-league and practicing with the Wolves sole as well maybe he would be more ready than we might think especially compared to one of these guys that would still be a rookie big.

To me I want the Wolves to keep adding talent and depth to their roster however they can. Maybe it's by making a more significant trade or maybe it's continuing to add to the roster and developing it. One thing I would like to see if the Wolves continue to add to their arsenal of players so they can keep playing more than one way.

I'm coming around to the idea of Noah Penda at 31 instead of doubling down on bigs.

Penda, Fleming or Kam Jones if they go with a guard.

Trade 31 for 33 and 34. Get Penda and Reynaud to pair with Beringer and send Gobert an armada of French reinforcements Bonaparte would be proud of.

Monster- I liked your list for areas the Wolves could use 31 to add talent. But if TC is not sold on anyone left available, what a great opportunity to use that pick for future draft capital. Heck, given the talent left on the board, he might be able to nab a future first round pick!

Although, deep down, I am hoping TC has Fleming on his board as a worthy pick!

Talk about assembling the future ANT 2.0 pieces. Wow!
