exactly what I feared.

We will be hating him by the end of year 1. Like, wanting to attach good assets to dump him type of hatred

I wouldn't have been happy with a 5 year deal, but a three year deal is fine. Guy put up 25 per game against Golden State in round 2 of the playoffs. OKC was a struggle for him. Both Naz and Randle should be movable contracts while getting value back if they ever decide to move on from one of them.

Mixed feelings. He didn’t get a raise just got more years.

Kept the salary slot, still a solid player. The “fun” of a new roster is gone

Randle wasn't a movable contract with 1 year being the player option left on the deal without attaching something good with him.

I'm only saying this because I saw how this played out in NY. It's a rollercoaster with him.

Pretty sure New York got Kat for him. All players are movable for the right price.

I'll say this, the team really figured out how to play together with Randle after he came back from injury. He is really happy here it seems and I don't believe he is just going to quit playing winning basketball because he got paid.

I also think it is a huge credit to him and Finch that he got to a point of playing as a different player, more to his strengths to be honest. It is hard to shift a player's mindset when they've been a primary scorer for such a long time. Being able to evolve that mid season says a lot about Randle and the coach and their relationship. It gives me cautious optimism about how this all works going forward.

That said, I just don't understand how Rudy, Ju, Jaden and Naz all work together going forward. They're committed to all three of the former so that leaves Rudy as a movable piece and I'm not sure how you accommodate the loss of his defense
