Free agent guard Caris LeVert has agreed to a two-year, $29 million deal with the Detroit Pistons, sources tell ESPN. Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports and the Pistons negotiated terms of a deal that brings backcourt depth and a Michigan return.

Looks like LaVert got a 2 year contract with the MLE. Detroit was also looking at NAW, who will likely get the same. The Hawks have been mentioned, who would like to use a portion of a large trade exception to pay a bit more than the MLE. That would net the Wolves a 2nd round pick...

That's a heck of a deal for Capela. I'd guess he likes it in Houston and that made him want to go there. It's kinda crazy Adam's is making double what Capela is.

He got paid good for him. I was a big fan of his coming out of college as a solid backup PG. It took him a while but it looks like he figured it out last year. This is why every roster spot can count.
