You mean I may not be able to see Ballmer sitting behind the baseline for a year or two?!? :D

We'll see if the NBA takes this seriously and investigates it. The Wolves were penalized 5 first round draft picks, although it was later reduced to 3.

I can't remember. Was Joe's contract voided at the time?

Yep, I think the contract was voided. I feel like we lost him to the Pistons, right? (Clearly, we're all too lazy to Google it!). That was right when I was starting to get into this team.

At this point it's just reporting on the Kawhi thing. Nothing's proven. But it doesn't smell good. Hopefully he ends up in the East!

Damn, the West is so loaded right now.

They should take 3 picks and void his deal, just the same. The league can't afford to let it slide.

Too much money at stake now. They will "investigate" and find no wrongdoing on the Clips side, fine them for not doing do diligence on this sponsor, and move on like nothing happened. Unlike the Joe Smith fiasco they have a built in scapegoat with this fraudulent company that used environmental stewardship to steal money from people. The whole thing is so gross.
