Seems like it's just to get Ant the ball in different looks and positions. I wouldn't post him up every possession, but every now and than, give it to him in the post when Rudy is out and let him get to work or hit someone for a wide open three if he gets triple teamed. Posting up against OKC is hard to do though when they allow Dort and Caruso to foul on every play, even Jokic was having a lot of trouble and was frustrated trying to get it in the post against Caruso.

THAT IS THE BIGGEST KEY.

I said it years ago, the NBA has reffed the post game out of favor when it was killing Towns on no calls. It's less entertaining then the faster space and pace style. The want 3's and dunk. Not Tim Duncan in the post or KAT or even Joker. They let them foul and bang constantly.

I can't blame the NBA for doing it, trying to make it more appealing to a wider audience. However I don't think a post game is a thing to prioritize. Why not just get super duper nasty at hitting 3's and shorter mids? Up that even to another level and be a monster.
