50 wins was the first number that popped into my head so I'll go with that. I predict they Winn at least one playoff series. It's hard to predict when injuries can really make or break things. I'm really looking forward to this season. I think Conley will have a better season TSJ will have a nice year and someone else that's younger will surprise with competent play.

I understand that the West is even tougher this season. I also think that while the Wolves maybe aren't as good as the 17-4 record they closed the season with, they're much better than the team we saw at the start of last season. Continuity, a happy locker room, and contributions from young guys who didn't contribute much last season adds up to more wins this year. I'll go with 51.

Oh, and another Western Conference finals. It's what we do...

I’m going with 57 wins. We won 49 games last season while adjusting to the loss of our second most important player the season before (KAT) and trying to integrate two new players into the team who both struggled to find their roles. We lost 11 games by 3 points or less. Had we won just 6 of those we would have had 55 wins. And of course, we finished 17-4 last season. The only player we lost is NAW. I don’t want to undersell that loss, but watching what Shannon was already doing the end of last season and in the playoffs, takes any worry away from that loss. We still haven’t seen Ant’s best and we’re pretty far from seeing JMac’s best. If Ant and Jaden each take another step forward and if Shannon plays the way we saw him play late last season then I’m not sure the gap between us and the OKC team that won 68 games is that huge. In addition, Donte is bound to have a better season than last. Anything we get from Dilly, Clark, Beringer, Rocco or Bones will be a bonus.

Mostly, I just have a gut feeling about this team. It’s a vibe I’m getting from the off season and training camp. It’s also my conviction that this roster is loaded with high-end talent. I have the same feeling I had before the 2004 season just after we acquired Sam and Spree. The only thing that keeps me from joining Tim in the 60+ win club is my conservative nature. I really think this Wolves team will be special.

Already then, Lip coming in hot! 57 wins is a tall task in the West, but I think it's certainly within the range of possibility given everything you said. Probably the one guy that could be problematic in the lockerroom is Dilly, but he doesn't have enough influence or gravitas for it to be a big issue. I just don't see him being very happy if he can't break into the regular rotation.
