This team is hurting at the 1 and the 5 in my opinion. Sounds worse than it is maybe. we have a great roster of guys from 2-4 and I don’t want to see that wasted by crappy PG play and no backup center. As Q said, Dilly needs to start getting some minutes against certain matchups and we might need to see what the rookie bigs have sooner than later

Portland played 10 guys, and at least Finchy played 9. He may need to go 10 though with this frenetic pace. I think we'll see Rob for a few minutes.
Our announcing crew keeps asking whether Portland can keep up the frenetic pace. Well, the answer is probably yes if they are playing 10 guys and all are on track for double-digit minutes. Finch probably thinks playing 9 guys is revolutionary (I swear he's got a little Thibs in him), but he may have to loosen up further.

Dilly is probably seething right now, but he got a lot of run in pre-season and hopefully he'll be ready to go once Conley starts running out of steam or gets dinged up.

There were too many of these games last year where Wolves are kept at arms length for the majority and have to work so hard to break through and get a lead. . . then it ends in a crunch time situation. Hopefully there's a payoff when it matters.

Rudy sits and the blazers score the first 3 possessions

With how bad our interior defense has been I seriously don't understand how they can't give Beringer some minutes.

Ant showed how to play solid perimeter defense and prevent penetration by using his strength and foot speed. Then gets called for a foul. Hate that call by the official.
