Conley Donte or Dilly
Who should start in your opinion? I was going to post this a few weeks ago, I'm a little surprised DDV is starting, but not really. I guess arguments can be made for all of them.

Re: Conley Donte or Dilly
I voted DDV but I am concerned with his mediocre passing and handles in the long term (turnovers). I like his shooting, he rebounds well for his position, he hustles and plays hard, shoots the three lights out most nights. So I think he's probably going to give us the lowest risk with higher rewards going forward.
Re: Conley Donte or Dilly
If Mike is done you should take your lumps and start Dilly. I feel like Finch coaches for his job every game, win now with no long term strategy. It frustrated me last season and seems were still there. If Dillingham is still a development project then he needs meaningful minutes to see whats there. If he cant find those minutes against Portland when we have no PG its probably just time that we trade him and let another coach try.

Right now probably Donte, but it might be TSJ very soon.

I voted for Donte. Ant will be the primary ball handler anyways and having a knock down 3 point shooter should give him space to operate.
Or maybe not, what do I know? LOL

Regardless we need a point guard
Re: Conley Donte or Dilly
Yeah, I'm probably here too, but not too excited about it. Intrigued with TJ right now, but prefer him bringing it off the bench.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 23, 2025 11:06 amI'd say Mike but agree it may end up being TSJrapsuperstar31 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 23, 2025 10:58 am Right now probably Donte, but it might be TSJ very soon.

Thats a good point, he may very well by the end of the year become a starter. I could even see an argument for Clark at some point. His defense is so great it's hard for him to not be on the floor!rapsuperstar31 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 23, 2025 10:58 am Right now probably Donte, but it might be TSJ very soon.
It's almost 5 guys that are arguable really, but so different and provide value in multiple ways.

Interesting symmetry with the local pro football team...
A team built to win now, with a talented roster... except for one glaring position of uncertainty.
We're nearing dangerous territory with Dillingham at this point if he can't even get into a game in year 2 when nobody else can even dribble the ball up the court.
Even if they know he's not the answer, there can't be much return on the investment at this point...
