KG could have been a mark, right? Wasn't the whole idea to lure in high-money guys and then cheat them with a rigged game? That is totally different than the role Damon Jones and Chauncey Billups (allegedly) played.
Still, whenever I see excerpts of KG these days from his podcast I can't stand listening to him. Can he drop the sunglasses and street slang and act and speak like a normal person? I'm sure he has legit basketball knowledge and insight, but it's obfuscated by the act he puts on. And his buddy Paul Pierce might be even worse and he legit does have character issues, including a recent DUI and a fairly lengthly list of other run-ins and controversies.
I do wonder if some of these issues have made the whole Wolves/KG reconciliation a little less urgent. Perhaps new ownership has backed off a little on the feting of KG, even though there is no doubt he was a franchise pillar for many years.
