Tim I'll take the loss on this one. I don't see how things change from last year defensively for us (can't stop the Goff or Gibbs), I could see them scoring 40+ and no way do we, so I see a likely blow out.
Lions only favored by 8.5 points. 10.5 seems fair to me honestly.

I was just popping on to get this one going. Thanks for having my back!
While I am expecting a loss, I gotta sneaky feeling we might see a competitive game today. And if it is competitive, they might have a punter--uhh--kicker's chance at this game!
Win or lose, I am excited to see the JJ development finally get back on track. I see many people say "JJ had 1 good quarter and 7 stinky quarters". But many of those so-call "stinky" quarters were really not so stinky, unless your expectation is any quarter without 3 touchdowns is stinky! I'm not going to break down the "degree of stinky" for each of those 7 quarters here (although I have gone back and looked at them).
And who knows, an offense that doesn't just go 3-and-out every damn time might just give our defense a chance.

Re: Vikings at Lions GDT
After a losing weekend for all Minnesota sports last weekend, the Gophers, Wolves and Wild have all put wins on the board this weekend. Can the Vikes make it a sweep?!?
Re: Vikings at Lions GDT
I'm also looking forward to seeing what JJ can do. A lot of the O line is back, but you gotta believe far from 100%. I'll be cheering for the kid, but this will be a tough one I think.

Agreed that JJ wasn't "that bad." Pretty much expected considering his lack of experience. It's not like he's Wentz age which is like 11 years older? If you are playing that poor at 33 then we got no hope for you.60WinTim wrote: ↑Sun Nov 02, 2025 8:44 am I was just popping on to get this one going. Thanks for having my back!

Great start for JJ today! 2 really good throws.Wolvesfan21 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 02, 2025 12:08 pmAgreed that JJ wasn't "that bad." Pretty much expected considering his lack of experience. But come on, guys...his QB rating of 67.2 ranks 42nd out of 43 quarterbacks, beating only something called Tyler Shough. I guess "bad" is a subjective term, but 42nd out of 43rd has to defined as bad.

Showing a big arm in that long pass to Addison! And then he follows up with another TD pass. Terrific start!
Re: Vikings at Lions GDT
Another good drive! That QB rating must be rising…
