I was also at the game last night. Great to finally have an easy win. My grades are similar to Q’s. Like Kek, I’m bumping Clark up to an A-. His defense and energy were great as always but he also hit a corner three. I’m also bumping Dilly up to a B-. He had 8 points on 44.4% shooting and zero turnovers. I’m not sure what else he needs to do to at least get above a C. Julius was obviously terrific and another triple-double, but I he had 7 turnovers in 26 minutes including I a turnover on a jump pass that would have had Q calling for Dilly’s head if Rob had made the same pass. I’m giving Julius an A-

Yeah, I struggled a little coming up with a grade for Ju because of the 7 turnovers. I stayed with the A because I thought most of his turnovers were after the outcome was decided...and the trip dub of course.

Just the opposite for Rob. Yes, his overall stats were good, but I thought most of his positive stats came in garbage time. My C grade was based on his pre-garbage minutes, when I thought he was quite average. If we're going to give credit for garbage time performance, we have to give Bones an A+!

And yes, let's give Joe an A+...not only for his bounce pass, but also for his positive presence on the bench. Fun to have him on this team!

I thought Rob was fine before garbage time. He was playing point when the game still mattered and had zero turnovers while getting some good looks for teammates and generally managing the game well. Arguably, the last three quarters were all garbage time. Dilly didn’t have the advantage of playing with Ant and Jaden. I’d love to see him get extended minutes with those two on the floor.

Dillingham has been awful this year. Yes, he's made some "micro" improvements in certain areas, but overall he's a liability on the floor. I'm OK with that for now since it's still early in the season and his minutes are fairly limited, but by normal backup PG standards, he's been terrible. Jordan McLaughlin would be infinitely better.

The bet is that the micro improvements turn into real improvements that ultimately don't make him a liability. When and if that happens is anyone's guess, but the improvements gotta come at some point or we're bleeding points everytime he's on the floor.

It was a tough look on TV, too bright.

I’ve seen clips and it looked terrible. In person I actually liked it a lot.

My buddy is the head of the Timberwolves graphics and he was pissed because they made the wolves use the black and green jerseys and the NBA did every detail of the court. The wolves/graphics had 0 input this year and he was not happy.

Also that guy can usually get me free tickets and this is a good sign. There were no free lower bowl tickets available to him last night. Pretty packed crowd yesterday.

One last thing if you go to a wolves game I highly recommend buying last row lower bowl. Tickets are cheaper and it is so nice having no one behind you and a back wall for support. Been doing this lately and it’s a game changer
