Stacking Wins - Wolves at Pelicans GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

After two good wins, the Wolves need to keep stacking wins over the next 7 games, leading to a rematch with OKC.

Winning back-to-back games on an opponents home court is always a tall order. But you can't do it if you don't win the first one! Wolves are a 10.5 point favorite tonight. I'll be taking particular note of how point-ANT is progressing.

The Pelicans are terrible, and Zion is questionable now. So why am I worried about this one? I'm out tonight, so I won't be watching live. Hope to come home and read about a win later tonight!

Zion ruled out with an abductor strain and will miss some extended time.

Take the gifts when they come, I guess. But don't get complacent!!

Its too early to think about but it popped into my head today. When was the last time the Wolves won 10 in a row? It appears it was 2001 which was an 11 game streak and the only instance of making it to 10 in the history of the franchise.

Im predicting  8 straight wins, starting tonight and ncluding a win over OKC to get the team its second 10 game winning streak in franchise history. They are in a good spot to do it with no back to backs in this stretch.

I missed that…

On another note, Rudy’s hands and ability to put the ball in the basket has been noticably better this year than any other year with the Wolves. And being easily the tallest player on the floor, he has been pretty dominant.

Rudy goes out and there is no rim protection other than when Jaden happens to be near the play.

I just don’t see this team having what it takes to be a champion with NAZ and Randle on the team. Need to pick one.

I agree Tim. They don't go together. Gives us a chance to get a point guard too.

So, are you thinking of a PG to replace Donte in the starting lineup? Or a backup PG to replace Dilly and fill in when Mike sits a game out?
