The defense has been terrible. The Pelicans guards just getting to the rim way too easy. Terrible perimeter defense combined with Randle and/or Naz at the low post is a terrible combination.

Team lacking energy and motivation. Championships teams don't play like this.
That thought went thru my mind as well. We just seem disinterested, and if the Pels want it more, they can have it.
I just don't understand this. I understand it's a long season and even great teams have an oppsies or two during the season but if a great player like these guys I would be licking my chops for matchups like these

We basically have gotten nothing from our 7-10th man on the roster this year outside of an occasional bump. That lack of depth seems to be the biggest variance from last year.

It's the drop off defensively more than anything this season. You can't let an injury depleted, bottom of the standings, starting two rookies team shoot 58% on you!!!!

Yeah our sixth man is offense first and then its someone too old to keep up and 3 young players who dont know what theyre doing. No wonder there is a dropoff. Theres no reliable defensive experience anywhere on the bench.

If giving up 50 paint points in less that 3 quarters against this Pelican team isn't a worrying sign then I don't know what is.

Maybe Trey Murphy is trying out for us?

Everyone just looks lost defensively. Compounded by a lack of energy.

You can live with the Pelicans making tough 3 point shots. You can't live with giving up all the points in the paint.

Nice close to the quarter. Clark is a team best +14. Shannon is a -13.

Clark has established himself as the best in his role of the young guys.
