Really worried that Connelly made a colossal blunder in the 2024 draft with both picks. I say that with great disappointment and despair, as I certainly didn't feel that way about it at the time or even heading into this season. But the lack of production from Dillingham and Shannon is hurting us in the here and now and is a real killer for our future.

Meanwhile, we continue to run into opponents that have picked up some cheap talent/rookie deal guys that are looking pretty damn good.

Ya, I’m a Connelly defender but we are 4 draft picks into the Connelly era and only Clark would get minutes in the playoffs if the season ended today.

TSJ was sick today and was hurt early in the season but boy he has been bad. Dilly losing his rotation spot to a guy almost out of the league, Moore and Minott cut, miller and Beringer out of the rotation even when your starting center gets tossed.

As you might remember, I big Bones booster. Dilly has opened the door for Bones to earn rotation minutes. And depending how well it goes, Conley better start looking over his shoulder. And if the no PG in the starting lineup doesn't work out, Donte might check the rear view mirror as well!

Of course, I guess I wouldn't mind a NAZ trade to fill the void. But that is not happening until mid January at the earliest...

Those guys were 2 for 24 on 3's, Tim...I guess we should be surprised we were even in this game. But Ant was brilliant, and he, Ju and Bones gave us a chance, Rudy was very good also, but his stupid flagrant foul may have cost us the game, He got his 6 shots, but we dropped to 12-4 when he does (3-5 when he doesn't). Clark on the other hand did not get his 14 minutes, and we are now 3-9 when Finchy decides not to play him (12-0 when he does).

Bad loss, but we remain in the top 6.

It sucks to lose but I'm finding it hard to be too upset about this game otherwise.

The team moved the ball really well for most of the game and generated a ton of open shots- players that normally make those, didn't. If the team had just shot league average from 3 they win by 11 points.

Several players stepped up after the Rudy ejection and they played really good team defense limiting the Sun to just to just 38 points after Rudy left with 8 minutes still left in the 3rd. More than that their intensity ramped up- it was a really fun game to watch.

They won all of the four factor except turnover %. Which was another reason for the loss. More mind numbing TOs in the 4th quarter that were deciding factors. Pretty upset about this.

The good offensive process also dissipated a bit around the 3 minute mark. I really didn't understand what they were trying to do here and Mike 3 point attempt was just plain stupid

This team just needs more from Shannon and it might be the difference between a real playoff run or an early exit- hell they might be relegated to the play in if the bench doesn't step up or reinforcements are brought in
