It's a Double Header - Wolves at Warriors GDT

The 6:30 warmup game featuring Joan and Rocco can be seen here:

I don't know how many games Joan will spend down in Iowa, but they play two more games over the next 4 days and are then off until after Christmas. I view this stint as a prelude to getting some sporadic minutes in the Wolves rotation. After tonight, the BIG club is back home until Christmas Day. So, Joan could be back for the Sacramento on Sunday, but will surely be back for the Memphis game next week.

The BIG club has somewhat of a litmus test game tonight. The Warriors are a solid play-in team, but a win over the Wolves tonight moves them a step closer to the playoffs and the Wolves a step closer to the play-in. I would prefer to not go there...

The Wolves are apparently desperate for a PG on the trade market. It's already been announced that Conley is out tonight with Achilles tendinopathy -- this after 4 days rest! The Wolves need a plan and rotation going forward that does not depend on Mike getting minutes. Will Dilly be back in the equation?

ANT is listed as Questionable with right foot soreness. This will be Curry's first game back, but both Green and Horford are listed as Out.

See you tonight.

This is a tough game to call. Steph is coming back, and Ant is back on the injury list. But Draymond and Horford are both out, and that's a lot of rebounds on the bench. And with them out the Warriors start four guys 6-6, 6-4, 6-2 and 6-1 next to Post. And none of the first guys off the bench are very big either. I assume Butler will want to be on Ant (if he plays), but Jaden, Naz and Ju are going to have a huge height advantage over whoever tries to guard them. How are Buddy Hield and Will Richard going to stop guys at least half a foot taller than them? Warriors are favored by 2 1/2, but with Curry playing, I have to believe we might play with more urgency early in the game than we have shown in recent games.

No Mike, so I think we will a lot of Bones tonight. And either TJ or Rob as our 9th man. The Warriors are the 4th worst turnover team in the Association, and are especially bad against pressure, so I would like to see 20 minutes of Clark tonight.

And yet the spread moved from Warriors -3.5 to -1.5. Weird. I guess Ant has been holding the rest of his team back.

Who starts for Ant? My guess is Bones. If so, what a meteoric rise for him: out of the rotation to starting!
