Kevin Garnett reaches agreement with Lore, A-Rod to return to Timberwolves in off-court role

Finally, No. 21 will hang in the Target Center rafters, where it belongs.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have reached agreement on a new partnership with franchise icon Kevin Garnett, team sources confirmed to The Athletic. This clears the way for his jersey to be retired and puts an end to a long and messy cold war between the greatest player in team history and the organization he spent 13-plus seasons playing for during a 21-year, Hall of Fame career.

Good for them!

I can't say KG's podcast has won me over. We'll see what kind of public-facing presentation he has with the Wolves.

Finally! Would be cool even to just see some pregame hype between him and Ant/others from time to time.

It makes sense, with KG back in the fold we will probably be returning to first round exits.

That would be better than Flip's return anyway.
