Draft and Stash 2025 update

Post by DNatagal »

The mention of Matteo Spagnolo in the FIBA thread has me asking the question: Who else do the Wolves have draft rights to???

They still have the draft rights to a pair of super promising 37 year olds in Henk Norel and Paulao Prestes.

Don't laugh Lip, Henk has all the potential to become a HOFer someday.

...as a coach.

Today the 2023 31st overall pick James Nnaji signed to play with Baylor.

Opening the door massively for complete chaos in the college. (I hate this by the way)

But not even joking the wolves and gophers should be making a deal that the wolves play NIL money to the gophers and the international draft go get a year or 2 of experience at the gophers before coming to the wolves. It would save the wolves cap space, roster spots and allows them to develop in their backyard.

If this was going to be a rule (before today draft picks were not allowed to play in college but the NCAA is so weird about labor laws) Spagnolo, Rocco, Beringer and fuck it go get Henk Norel also.

*once again I hate were this is going and it’s why I watch a ton more college woman’s basketball now.
