Ant was getting chippy and deserved to get tossed 💯

Really a fun game, but also a very odd one. Ju and Ant made big shots in the 4th quarter and early in OT and scored efficiently, but they were both lazy on defense (maybe we have to cut Ant some slack because of the shoulder...I don't know), and finished -13 and -17 respectively. And then there's Donte. He couldn't buy a bucket to save his life, but he was flying all over the court on defense and moving the ball well on offense...and he finished with a +12. It's almost as if playing defense and moving the ball without turning it over is a good thing. I think kek would have really struggled if he had tried to give grades on this game. Mike and TJ get F's and Rudy gets an A, but I wouldn't know what to do with most everyone else.

I’m not against your get a PG idea. I’m pretty torn on it but I do think they really need a center that can play 10 minutes of action. They can’t keep getting killed in those minutes.
No idea if Nick Richards is a competent backup for 10 minutes. Expiring 5 million dollar contract, and Phoenix is trying to get a 2nd round pick for him.

In 42 minutes Nikola Jokic had an offensive rating of 171 O.o
No other nuggets player who played more than 5 minutes had a rating above 115.

Sucks to lose after the awesome comeback, but it really took a singular performance by a singular player for that to happen

Yeah, he was terrific. I think the NBA needs to have two MVP awards: one real MVP award (which joker will win) and one for everyone else to give them a chance.

The Jokic matchup is where really miss KAT alongside Rudy, or somebody like KAT. Someone who can bang with Jokic and potentially affect his shot.

We have a top 7 players when you add NAZ and Bones to the starters. It sucks donkey nuts that NOBODY is stepping up to claim that #8 spot. We have talk about TC going big game hunting, but just finding a reasonable 8th man would do wonders. I am sometimes surprised that Jingles doesn't get some run...

The gap between expectations for Shannon and actual production is a defining story arc for this season so far and likely will be for the rest of the season.

Fact is they have given TJ far too much rope relative to what he has earned compared to someone like Clark. Given his constant motor and the fact that he has an established high level skill, he should be given much more leeway to work through his offensive short coming. Imo Clark should have a guaranteed 15 minutes

To your first point- I can't help but wonder what a player like Sabonis would be like in Julius's stead.

Like KAT, he's not necessarily a great defender but similar to Kat in the 23 season, there wouldn't be a huge drop off when you go from Rudy to Sabonis in terms of interior presence. Granted this is another type of trade that is dead on arrival because of the contract and there no love lost between Sabonis and Gobert, but I actually like the fit.

Ultimately I really don't know how to "fix" this team if it truly needs fixing, because there just aren't too many players better than Randle right now at that price

What about ol board favorite Moses Brown? He is sitting in the G League. I think he spent some time with the Nuggets so he, in theory, practiced against Joker.
