The Wolves have had some good fortune this season with respect to opponent's injuries, but they got some bad news this afternoon...Trae Young is out! Atlanta is 3-10 when he plays, and 12-9 when he doesn't. Did anyone notice what the line did today? Wolves were favored by 6 1/2 when Trae was listed as questionable, and it dropped to 5 1/2 when he was ruled out. Vegas is catching on...Atlanta is much better when Trae is out.
Atlanta has lost 7 games in a row, but the Wolves cannot afford to overlook them...they are a pretty solid team when Trae is out. Johnson, Porzingis and NAW are all legitimate 20-point scorers, and Krejci, Kennard and Wallace are all 40%+ 3-point shooters. They're not a very good rebounding team though, so I want to see us dominate on the boards.
We played almost a perfect game against the Bulls...let's see if we can replicate it.
